Resource Recovery and Waste Management  (RRWM)

RRWM is one of the working groups in Agrotechnology Innovation Center (PIAT) UGM which the main duty is processing waste into valuable products. Everyday RRWM has to treat UGM campus organic solid waste together with industrial and agriculture waste by composting and other methods to become fertilizers, fuels, and other products. Beside that, RRWM also responsible for technological development and dissemination for assisting community, government, and industry to recycle their waste to be more sustainable and supporting circular economy.

RRWM plays important role in education for sustainable development by serving many facilities and programs about waste management.
