PT Sarihusada Generasi Mahardika (PT SGM)

PIAT UGM in partnership with PT Sarihusada Generasi Mahardika (PT SGM) performs sludge processing or residual solids from the wastewater treatment plan. PIAT UGM processes this sludge using anaerobic digestion technology, composting, and compost sludge bulking agent. The products obtained from this sludge processing include compost and slow release fertilizer.

Indonesian Solid Waste Forum (ISWF)

The Indonesia Solid Waste Forum was formed in 2017 during the Workshop on the Development of a National Waste Self-Management Campus. Until now, ISWF has held 1st - 2nd  Annual Symposium on Solid Waste Refinery (ANSWER), waste management webinars, and research collaborations such as dumask. ISWF is also actively holding discussions to find solutions to waste problems in Indonesia.

Waste Refinery Center Universitas Gadjah Mada (WRC UGM)

The Waste Refinery Center (WRC) is a study group on waste (rubbish) that operates in the theoretical and practical realms under the Faculty of Engineering, Gadjah Mada University. As part of the university, the WRC has a role in being a center for scientific reference in education, research and community service as well as a means of building cooperation between various parties with an interest in waste management and utilization in Indonesia.

WRC UGM together with RRWM have collaborated to carry out activities in the form of:

  1. National Waste Care Day Campaign (Hari Peduli Sampah Nasional) in 2017
  2. Magelang City Waste Management Master Plan in 2017
  3. UGM Waste Generation Survey in 2017
  4. Community Empowerment of Organic Waste Processing for Rejowinangun Magelang Market in 2018
