Recently, the government published a regulation to appeal the public to start work from home (WFH), learning from home (LFH), and also a massively social restriction (PSBB) as the effort of reducing the Covid-19 spreading. In order to support this regulation, the Center of Agrotechnology (PIAT) UGM is trying to redevelop the old programs that had been dimmed in recent years by giving a little innovation touch to the plan.
The goal of this movement is to provide a number of vegetables that are planted by PIAT. This movement is also supporting the government regulation through PIAT Shop. PIAT Shop is an idea that comes from the previous early April which goal is to provide the need of fresh vegetables, source of proteins, and also instant herbal drink to help us go through these massive social restrictions.

“There are various packets of vegetables that could be chosen and suits your needs. We got a vegetables packet which only costs Rp. 50.000 and Rp. 100.000 that contains PIAT’s officially and partner’s planted vegetables’ ‘, said Triya Andriyani, S. P., M. Sc., the public relations of PIAT. The vegetables which are planted by PIAT such as eggplant, beans, chili, tomato, corn, and cucumber. Moreover, PIAT’s partner, PT. Ciomas Adisatwa also acts as the provider of the proteins such as scallop, sausage, cornet, premium meatball, etc. Those frozen foods each are packed for 500gr. Then it is sold for Rp. 20.000 to Rp. 35.000 each pack.
It is quite easy to order these products. We only have to call the Whatsapp contact of PIAT on 08112637717. Later, the admin would serve you. The PIAT Shop’s office hours are from 08.00 to 14.00 except sunday. The customers’ order would only be processed until 12.00pm for each day. Currently, it is only 20 orders for the current quota.

The order that had been packed since morning would be distributed to 10.00 IWT. The pick-up point is at PIAT store and the center office in Berbah with the customer’s location is taken as consideration. For the delivery service, PIAT Shop is using the sub-service of Gojek, GoSend, as the partner for delivery. Titien Agustina, one of our customers also stated that she received a good response from the Gojek driver, “The driver said that he was really happy that he got plenty orders from PIAT.”
